Last weekend we took our circus to the Scripps Aquarium in La Jolla. It was a perfect weather day and it was November! It was the first time since I moved here that I really realized how lucky we are to live in such a warm climate. We arrived just in time for the diving show in the kelp tank. We spent almost 3 hours looking at all the fish and checking out all of the animals in the touch tank. When we asked Jax what his favorite part was he said that he loved the fish that made his home by scooping up sand in his mouth and spitting it out.
After the aquarium, we went to dinner and sat outside at a restaurant in La Jolla. Jax ate pizza and gave the crust to the babies. Cory and I ate mussels and pasta. All three kids were so good the entire time. It was a perfect day.
It does indeed look like a perfect SoCal day! You stinkers. It is getting very late-fall-ish here with cold and white on the horizon. We love it that you are now Sunshine People! Soak it in. We will look forward to a visit to the aquarium with y'all some day! Nana
